Arcadia is very mindful of the need to provide on-going training and refresher courses. We undertake in-depth induction training in our multimedia training facility and we also have strong links with training organisations that provide us with rapid access to training in Moving and Handling, Health and Safety, Infection Control, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Medication, Fire Awareness, First Aid, Food Hygiene and so on.
Our aim is to supply quality trained staff to provide a high level of service to our clients.
Arcadia has signed up to a Local Employment Partnership Agreement (LEP) in which we express our commitment to working with Jobcentre Plus to help potential candidates move from dependence upon welfare to sustained employment, and within that process build and develop skills to enable progression within the healthcare sector.
