Arcadia Recruitment Ltd, trading as Arcadia Nursing, is registered by the Care Quality Commission and is an approved supplier to the NHS under the National Framework Agreement for nurses and nurse auxiliaries.
Arcadia Nursing was established in 1994 to own and operate nursing homes and provide domiciliary care in the community. Out of these roots has grown an agency whose focus has been to supply emergency, temporary and permanent nurses, carers and support workers to hospitals, nursing & residential homes, including organisations caring for people with mental health problems and learning disabilities.
Arcadia has built a good track record with a wide range of clients including the NHS, Social Services and the private sector. We have focused on the most challenging segment of the market, i.e. the non-contractual spot market, where we have specialised in providing 24-hour emergency cover, 365 days a year. In addition, given our strong background in domiciliary care, Arcadia has considerable experience in providing services to the local community which is becoming increasingly relevant with the integration of health and social care.
